Find in this patch note all the fixes, new content and card balance added in the 0.8.4 update!

On November 17th, at 2:30 PM (UTC+1), we will deploy a new update for Krosmaga. This patch will contain the following changes:

New content

During battle

  • Experience gained by Infinite cards during battle is now displayed over their head.
  • New sentences to communicate with your opponent have been added to the game.
  • Increased the size of players’ hands to 10 cards.

Interfaces

  • Battle log is now available on the ending screen of each battle. This will allow for a better understanding of the last few events of the game.
  • The last deck the player selected is now saved for each God.
  • Invalid decks (containing less than 45 cards) will be highlighted on the deck selection page by a red cross.
  • The discard interface will now be read from left to right.

Balancing

  • All Gods’ starter decks have been revamped.
  • Unlocking the Gods have been completely revamped. To unlock a God’s starter deck, you now only need to win a game in Training mode with this God.
  • Players who have already unlocked starter decks will automatically receive any missing card from the new decks.
  • Consecutive victories won’t award kamas anymore. As a replacement, each victory will now award you 5 kamas, with a maximum of 60 kamas earned this way per day.

Miscellaneous

  • Increased the performance of loading content on startup.
  • After an update, the game will now check the totality of content currently in the cache.
  • It is now impossible to connect to the server with a client who’s requiring an update.
  • In the collection menu, the first page will now be shown automatically after a filter is applied.
  • In the collection menu, it is now possible to sort cards by their AP, MP, HP or Attack value. Here’s how it works:
    • Keywords for the search are AP, MP, HP and ATT.
    • Add a number after a keyword, separated by “:”, to search for this value. For example, “att:2” will look for all cards with an Attack of exactly 2.
    • You may add + or – after these numbers to search for increasing or decreasing values. For example, “att:4+” will look for cards with an Attack of 4 or more, while “mp:1-“ will look for cards with 1 MP or less.
    • You can combine several search in one prompt. For example, “ap:5 att5+” will look for cards which both costs 5 AP and have an Attack of 5 or more!

Bug fixes

During battle

  • Blue Raspberry Jelly: fixed its effect, which also activated when an opponent-controlled jelly appeared on the field.
  • Die already: fixed its effects which didn’t always reduce the cost of the spell based on the number of Bow Meows in play.
  • Golden Bow Meow: fixed its effects which didn’t affect a Bow Meow created by the Bow Meow spell.
  • Katar (1, 2 and 3 stars versions): fixed his effects, which would attract a summon behind him to the Dofus of his line. Now, Katar only attracts summons placed in front of him.
  • Marline (1, 2 and 3 stars versions): he will no longer trigger the Appearance effects of the summons he copies. Numerous bugs linked to interactions with Marline have been fixed.
  • Matthew Osh: fixed his appearance effect which healed 4 HP instead of 3.
  • Mushd: Fixed his effect which created too many Mushd copies when Julith was on the opposing team.
  • Otomai (1 and 2 stars version): his Counterattack effect will not trigger if he doesn’t survive the attack.
  • Pace Trese: fixed a bug where some effects triggered wrongly when Pace fought the same opponent several times in the same turn.
  • Remington Smisse: the bombs Remington summons now have an indicator showing to which player they belong.
  • Sram Ritual: Fixed a bug which made players discard depending on the turn order.
  • Will Skass: fixed his effect which didn’t affect Grany and the Golden Bow Meow.
  • Lucy Fayre, Celestial Gobball, Kamasutar and Sphincter Cell: fixed a bug which returned random cards from the player’s discard pile.
  • Miranda, Anathar: when they were bounced back to their owner’s hand, the summons which changed sides because of Miranda or Anathar would bounce back to their previous owner’s hand. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed the effect of some summons that would give their bonus to the wrong player when they changed side or were transformed during the opponent’s turn.
  • Fixed a rare bug which could alter the order of resolution of events, causing a discrepancing of the board's state between the client and the server.

Interfaces

  • Fixed a bug which could cause a God portrait usually shown on the deck selection interface to stay visible during combat.
  • Fixed a bug which could cut parts of a summon’s preview in the collection.
  • Fixed a bug which allow to show the card’s details during the transition between an Infinite card’s preview and its progression screen.
  • On the Infinite card screen, the experience gauge will now correspond to the actual progression of the card.
  • Fixed some shaders, which could cause screens to go pink for players using DirectX 9.
  • Fixed the button used to disable your opponent’s messages during play (click on the opponent’s God to make it appear).
  • Fixed a bug which would sometimes cards to display badly after exchanging one or more in the starting hand.

Quests and challenges

  • The consecutive victories counter will no longer be reset after losing to the AI.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a bug which prevented music to start again after a reconnection during a match.
  • Fixed several sources of game-crashing bugs.
