Rallying doesn't always work

The Rallying mechanic seems very hit and miss. Every non-infinite card in my Feca deck has Rallying. And yet, they often refuse to use it. I'll play a Rallying minion on a row adjacent to another, further ahead, Rallying minion: Only for the new minion to do nothing. So far, I've found no reason for this. Am I just misunderstanding the mechanic?

First Ankama intervention
Difficult to say without a picture... From our point of view, Rallying works fine. But if you happen to get into this situation again, try to get a screenshot of it, as well as the combat log. Maybe there's a specific interaction that does not work properly?

After some testing, I think I've narrowed down the bug. It seems to be caused by the system Rallying to the wrong minion. Here's a turn by turn example:

Turn 1: Play a Rallying minion (any of them) in the leftmost lane.
Turn 2: Play a Rallying minion in the middle lane. The first minion advances several squares.
Turn 3: Play a Rallying minion in the lane between your other two minions.

The third minion should Rally to whichever of its neighbours is further ahead, correct? But instead, it doesn't move at all. I think that's because it's (for some reason) Rallying to the minion played on turn 2: The one that's still on its lane's first square. That's my best guess, anyway.

You are misunderstanding the mechanic. It rallies to the minion with rally that is closest to ur dofus if you place him in-between. However if there wouldn't be a minion in-between and you would just play ur 2nd minion on the row next to ur first minion with rallying he would advance to him. That's why positioning is very important while playing as Feca.

I feel like Koniacz has the right explanation: the newest minion rallies only to the closest ally with Rally. In the situation you've described, there's no apparent bug.

So it's working as intended? My mistake, then. Apologies for the erroneous thread.
