"Update Server Data appears to be out of sync." (Error code: U04020025)

I had this error yesterday when the Feca update first launched, and since there must've been an hotfix patch while I was asleep, I started getting the error again, here is the error log.

Same issue here, was fine yesterday and now it wont let me in, at the start it showed "Update server data appears to be out of sync" and now its just "krosmaga cannot be launched"

I get the "update server data appears to be out of sync" but it'll still let me into the game for a bit before telling me an update is required and I need to restart the game. But of course, I try to run the game again only for it to repeat the same.

Yeah, I can open the game too, but it will tell my that I need to update the game, and closes.

It resolved itself for me now, and I can update the game.

We're investigating this issue and we hope to deliver a fixing patch as soon as possible. 

Alright, we may have a method around this bug. It involves cleaning your install folder. 

To do so: 

  1. Open updater.
  2. Click on the cogwheel on the top-right.
  3. Click on the Krosmaga icon.
  4. Click "Open the installation folder".
  5. Delet all files that are in this folder.

This will allow you to re-install the game from scratch, and possibly circumvent the bug.
